There are several options to get to Finca Carolina:
From San José
There is a direct bus form San José to Uvita with the company Tracopa. The bus station is in the 5th Street
Between 18th and 20th Avenue. Departures from 5:00 am to 6:30 pm. The price ranges from $12 to $18, depending on the shedule.
From Pérez Zeledón (San Isidro)
There are two buses from Pérez to Uvita, at 9 am and 4 pm. The bus company is Transportes Blanco [Tel.: (506) 2771-4744].

The “highway” that crosses Uvita is the number 34, called “Costanera Sur”. If you are traveling from the SJO airport or San José, you can take the 27th highway to Orotina and then the 34th to Jacó. Pass Jacó, Parrita, Quepos and Dominical and you will be in Uvita.
You can use another route, by the “Cerro de la Muerte”. The name is scary, but the landscape is incredible.
Take the Panamerican highway to San Isidro el General (Pérez Zeledón) and from there the 243th to Dominical.
