By Car

The “highway” that crosses Uvita is the number 34, called “Costanera Sur”. If you are traveling from the SJO airport or San José, you can take the 27th highway to Orotina and then the 34th to Jacó. Pass Jacó, Parrita, Quepos and Dominical and you will be in Uvita.

You can use another route, by the “Cerro de la Muerte”. The name is scary, but the landscape is incredible.
Take the Panamerican highway to San Isidro el General (Pérez Zeledón) and from there the 243th to Dominical.
